FML.

I don't want to write about Ben Franklin.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I hate Ben Franklin.
I also hate Tom Buchanan.
I feel like expressing the fact that I abhor both in my lens essay is not what I am supposed to do.
Aiyah.
I have not been productive today.
I just want to sleep.

OMG DREAM STREET!!!!! OMG!!!!

So I guess we missed Moira's friend, which is sad, but HOLY SHIT we saw the guy from DREAM STREET. I mean WOW. STRANGE.
note to self: download 'losing it' by raposo.
also.... OMGGGGG so gooood. hahahaha :)

AH!

Okay, so I guess I'll be straight forward about this... I haven't been updating because I forgot my password. That's right. Also, I have received a nintendo ds for an early christmas gift... and it has taken over my life. When I'm not studying or bridge building... I am dsing. Yes. Yes I am.

But a lot has been happening so let's go over that. Hm....
Before Thanksgiving I went to a show with Adam and Chelsea! It was amazing. The Builders and the Butchers and Vermillion Lies opened up for Amanda Palmer and it was effing incredible. Like... CRAZY good. I got a card board sign as a souvenir and that was that. The drummer in the B&Bs was SOOOOO hot. I'm pretty sure I fell in love with him. I have a weak spot for musicians or passionate people in general I suppose. It's probably because I don't have any passion of my own and hope that those with drive will rub off on me.

Thanksgiving was really busy. It was full of food but nothing really sticks out as far as events go.

Last week blew so much. I took two exams and started/finished a truss project. I'm pretty sure I failed all of the above, except the truss report thing just because it was an intense report. So that pretty much sums up my life for the past couple of weeks. I'm going to a show tonight with my roomies. I'm pretty stoked about that. Hopefully it happens, everyone has a lot of work to do!

I feel like making a list today.

There are so many things that I want to try/do before I die.
I think it would be appropriate to list them here for the world to see... because hey, what's to hide?
So here it goes... in no particular order:

1. Travel the world: more specifically, Europe, New Zealand, Egypt, Japan
2. Be in a band, mostly because I want to be a rockstar.
3. Model: I would love to do pinup or maybe be a suicide girl. Yeah, you heard it here first.
4. Write a book.
5. Send in a secret... because Post Secret is the best.
6. Learn to play an instrument. Preferably something classy... like piano... or guitar. :)
7. Skydive
8. Scuba dive
9. Be a hippie. I feel like it's my next stage in life.
10. Run a marathon.
11. Pick up a hobby, like painting.
12. Make an incredible discovery.
13. Learn to dance: with a pole... with a chair... with other people. The whole shebang.
14. Get a puppy.
15. Step out of my comfort zone and really put myself out there.
16. Meet new people/form new relationships without compromising my old ones.
17. Go to concerts. Lots of them.
18. Design my own clothes/shoes.
19. Take more photos.
20. Breakdance
21. Have a picnic somewhere beautiful.
22. Watch a meteor shower
23. Make a difference in someone's life.
24. Be in a music video
25. Read all the books I own.

So there's a lot I'd like to do... and it goes without saying my list doesn't really end there.
I guess there is a lot you can learn about people by seeing what they aspire to do...

Regarding what makes me tick...

Someone once asked me what I wanted to do and the following conversation ensued:
I want to be an engineer.
I know that's what you want to be, but what do you want to do?
Work with tissues, cells, and DNA?
No. That's not what I'm asking. What is it you want to do? What motivates you?

So for the past few weeks I've been plagued by this conundrum. How will I ever be good at something if I don't know what it is that makes me passionate? I mean, there are things I enjoy doing, perhaps to the extent of me being enthusiastic about it. For example, if you have ever seen me sing or paint you may be able to attest to that, but what, in the real world, will drive me to do what I plan on doing for the rest of my life? To that simple and straightforward question I have no answer, but I fully intend on finding out.
